'The aim of this unit is to provide an accessible introduction to some of the key ideas, topics and methods of philosophy. After considering the nature and value of philosophy itself, the course will reflect on such questions as: 'Is there such a thing as certain knowledge?'; 'What is the difference between being human and being a person?'; 'How free are we?'; 'What is Art?' and 'What is the best way to lead a life?' The course acts as an simple taster for those considering academic philosophy and provides an ideal platform for deeper reflection on life in general.'

Should be fun!
