New for 2015, it is hoped that an informal reading group will meet once a fortnight to discuss various philosophy texts.
The opening topic will be 'the value and method of philosophy' itself and will be based on Basic Readings (1st volume) by Nigel Warburton.
This should provide an ideal opener to the series.
The group should be ideal for anyone considering academic philosophy or for those merely seeking a stimulating social pastime! Absolutely no prior experience of philosophy is necessary to join.
There will be a small charge for attendance (to allow for the disruption to normal teaching hours) but the exact cost will depend on numbers and whether or not an external venue will be required. Please register your interest using the contact form on this site. (Link below)
